In this unit you will explore some exciting World Theatre traditions from different times and places, in preparation for a mock Research Presentation. We will begin by looking at Puppets, then move on to Masks, then Movement and then Voice, so it will be a bit of a 'whistle stop tour!' The Research Presentation is a 15 minute solo live presentation in which you present your practical and physical research to a audience, focusing on the following criteria... A) Theatre in Context: The Tradition B) Theatre Processes: Practical Research and Approaches to Application C) Presenting Theatre: The Presentation of the Moment of Theatre D) Theatre in Context: The Learner The buttons below will take you to starter research sources for the different traditions we will explore in class. Academic honesty guidelines must be followed. You must cite your sources verbally during your presentation, cite all sources and images on your slides and also submit a bibliography. |
